Position Summary

The Accounting Processor is responsible for account coding and data entry of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.

Full Time, up to $26/hour

Essential Functions (approximate time spent)

• Accurately process, code, and record invoices, reimbursement requests, and cash receipts (35%).
• Assist accountants in processing in-kind donations and monitoring usage of purchased gift cards (20%).
• Deposit funds and print checks, as assigned (15%).
• Perform administrative support tasks e.g., scanning documents and preparing audit documents (15%).
• Ensure adequate supporting documentation for transactions; filing in a timely manner (10%). Process and sort incoming mail (5%).

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in data processing and account coding preferred.
• Must pass background checks.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, and work in person or on the phone for reasonable periods.
• Professional environment; eligible for a remote-friendly work environment.

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
